Supporters in Bridlington take the initiative.

The Campaign’s supporters in Bridlington area have decided to take the initiative and form their own branch.

So far, their activities have included regular discussion groups at the Jacob Well Cafe and the production of a video chatting to people in the town about a Yorkshire Parliament.

Dave Mallender, leader of the group, said: “It’s great to see so many people interested and feeling empowered by the idea of our own Parliament here in Yorkshire. The usual response is ‘it’s not before time’.”
